Sonic Superstars – LEGO Fun Pack DLC Trailer

Sonic the hedgehog and friends are getting the LEGO treatment once more in the last game in the franchise Sonic Superstars.

A new DLC has been released which provides the playable characters with new LEGO-based skins and the trailer shows the bricked up heroes in action.

There will be two DLCs available:

  • Sonic the Hedgehog LEGO Skins – FREE
  • LEGO Fun Pack DLC (Inc. Tails, Knuckles and Amy) – £3.99, though prices may differ depending on the digital platform

With the DLCs you’ll be able to play through the entire game in LEGO form, a must for many fans who last saw Sonic take on a video game bricked up form in LEGO Dimensions Year 2, a personal favourite of mine.

The DLCs are available for download now and can be purchased, along with the core game, from all major digital games platforms.

New LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga Gameplay Trailer

swlego

It seems like light years ago that we heard anything about LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga, but we now have a new trailer to enjoy.

Warner Bros. Games, TT Games, The LEGO Group and Lucasfilm Games today revealed a new gameplay trailer for the game where Padawans learn to become Jedi with guidance from their Jedi Masters. In the upcoming game, players will explore the LEGO Star Wars galaxy like never before and experience nonstop action from all nine Skywalker saga films reimagined with hilarious LEGO humour.

https://youtu.be/2oJCI_Xikag

Featuring cutscenes and, much more importantly, actual gameplay, this new trailer is the first proper look we’ve had of the highly anticipated game for well over a year, with many even theorizing that the game might not ever see release.

Luckily, it looks like we’re hitting hyper-space soon and heading back to a galaxy far, far away.

Developed by TT Games in collaboration with The LEGO Group, Lucasfilm Games and publisher Warner Bros. Games, LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga will release Spring 2022 for the Xbox One family of devices including Xbox Series X, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch system and PC.

LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga features the biggest roster of playable characters in the LEGO Star Wars series and players will engage in new ways of combat as they wield lightsabers, fire blasters, and chain different attacks with the greatest legends from every era of the Skywalker saga. Players can fight against the forces of evil as favourite characters such as Luke Skywalker™, Rey™, Obi-Wan Kenobi™, Finn™, BB-8™ and a legion of other heroes.

The greatest space and land vehicles are also available to command. Players can jump to lightspeed in the Millennium Falcon to outrun Imperial star ships, battle First Order TIE fighters in Resistance X-wings, or pod race on Tatooine. Players will be able to travel through hyperspace and explore planets that can be unlocked during their adventures. From the jungle moon of Ajan Kloss to the vibrant, city-covered planet Coruscant, the LEGO Star Wars galaxy is yours to discover and play in.

Having been delayed multiple times, LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga is due for release Spring 2022.

LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga Gameplay Trailer Released

lswsws

2020 has been a long year, let’s face it, but one thing that’s creeping ever closer is the release of probably the most highly anticipated LEGO game since The Original Trilogy was released. I’m talking, of course, about LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga, the game that promises to delivery all nine movies in stunning LEGO form.

Warner Bros and TT Games have been pretty quiet with announcements for the game over the past year, with dribs and drabs filtering out every now and again, but today they’ve finally revealed a gameplay trailer, and it is awesome. Check it out below:

https://youtu.be/lXiDpB3eP9A

If this is any indication, this game has all the charm, wit, and dedication to source material that TT Games are now famous for. The most exciting aspect of the game is an entirely redeveloped version of the prequel trilogy and the original trilogy, both of which helped TT Games establish their LEGO games brand nearly 15 years ago.

The trailer gives a glimpse of the adventures that will immerse players into the expansive saga with the freedom to control hundreds of characters and vehicles that will allow them to discover their own unique journey through a galaxy far, far away. Players have the freedom to start at any of the nine episodes, whether jumping straight in at Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker, beginning their journey at the prequels with Star Wars: The Phantom Menace or experiencing the saga in any order they prefer. Playable characters include favorite heroes like Luke Skywalker, Rey, Obi-Wan Kenobi, Finn, BB-8 and others, as well as characters from the dark side such as Darth Vader, The Emperor, Kylo Ren, Darth Maul, and more. Unforgettable moments from the films have been re-imagined in new, fun-filled, light-hearted humour. Everything from Podracing on Tatooine and space combat above the Death Star, to battling on Starkiller Base and beyond.

The Deluxe Edition will feature the main game and the “Character Collection Bundle Pack” with six DLC character packs inspired by The Mandalorian, Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, Solo: A Star Wars Story, Star Wars: The Bad Batch and more. The physical version of the Deluxe Edition will include a collectible LEGO Star Wars minifigure, Luke Skywalker with Blue Milk.

LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga is due for release in Spring 2021.

E3, that joyous yearly event when the gaming community gets a preview of the year ahead (and how much money they need to save for all these new goodies).

LEGO and TT Games took to the stage today to announce that a new LEGO Star Wars game is coming in 2020, LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga and will feature content from ALL NINE EPISODIC MOVIES. It’s an exciting time to be a LEGO Star Wars fan at the moment anyway, with it being the 20th anniversary this year since the theme first released sets, but now knowing there’s a new game coming has only made it sweeter.

A trailer has already been released and you can see it below.

The game is due to release in 2020 and as soon as more information is readily available it will be up on the site.

For now, may the force be with you…
