Just over a month after the initial release, TT Games has release the first major patch for LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga, and in addition to some important fixes, there’s a few surprises…
The bug fixes, whilst important, aren’t what interest me, it’s the previously unannounced NEW CONTENT, this isn’t a paid DLC after all.
Revealed in an official blog post, downloading the update will net you four brand-new Capital Ship encounters in the game’s space-based open worlds to play through.
The four new Capital Ship encounters, adding 34 additional Kyber Bricks to the already huge collection, are:
Fulminatrix
Home One
Invisible Hand
Venator
Capital Ship #4 – Venator

A bit of nonsense really, but…why not?
Big Head mode, a modification that has been included in LEGO TT Games for some time, can offer some amusing result – especially when the character is wielding a lightsaber. As the name suggests, this unlockable option increases the size of all playable characters’ melons to comical sizes.
Let’s take a brief trip through the Skywalker Saga with Big Head Mode for absolutely no reason…VERY large helmets may be required…

Minikit #1: While riding your mount across the outside of the Star Destroyer, stay on the right side and jump to grab the minikit once you see it.
Minikit #2: During the first Star Destroyer shootout with Sith Troopers, swap to a Bounty Hunter and destroy the gold bricked object on the right to retrieve the minikit.
Minikit #3: After pulling down the TIE wing, cross it and use the force to pry open the TIE cockpit for the minikit.
Minikit #4: After pulling on the TIE wing, use a grenade to blast the silver bricked lock. This releases the ladder, allowing you to climb up and grab the minikit.
Minikit #5: Complete the final battle against BB-Boss, then backtrack along the wall. You’ll find a crashed A-Wing with a cockpit that can be shot. Rebuild the bricks to create a Hero Terminal. Use the terminal to call in a pod with the minikit.

Challenge #1: Dark Lord of the Surf In the final part of the level, lure Kylo into the range of a crashing wave to complete the challenge. Red zones will periodically appear during the final battle, wait for one to appear then stand on it to lure Kylo towards you. As long as he gets hit you’ll earn this challenge.
Challenge #2: Shocking! During the final part of the level, swap to BB-8 and pull the grapple handles to send electricity through the puddles of water. Try to lure Kylo into a puddle before activating the electricity to complete the challenge.
Challenge #3: Golden Opportunity After the first Kylo Ren battle, reach a door you need to open with an astromech terminal. Instead of doing that, use a Bounty Hunter to destroy the gold pipes above and then grapple up to bypass it for this challenge.
Minikit #1: After the first Kylo Ren battle, turn right from the starting point to find a lightsaber door. Cut through to return to the vault. There’s a minikit in there.
Minikit #2: For this minikit you need to destroy three dianoga creatures. They’re scattered throughout the Death Star ruins.
In the first arena, just before you reach the astromech terminal, to the left behind a fallen beam.
From the astromech terminal in the first arena, turn around to find a makeshift bridge leading to an upper corridor. Take that path to a room with jump poles. Drop down to the lower level to find the second creature.
In the hallway with the crumbling floor, BB-8 has to enter a shaft with red buttons. The creature is in this room.
Minikit #3: In the room on the upper floor with the second creature from the previous minikit, use the jump poles and swing across to the ledge for the minikit.
Minikit #4: After the second fight with Kylo Ren, before going outside the ruins, look left for a small vent that BB-8 can roll through. The minikit is right inside.
Minikit #5: In the final battle surrounded by waves, there are three grey cylinder object to destroy. Break all three objects for the minikit.

Challenge #1: Right in the Eye You need to disable a UA-TT’s searchlight with a blaster for this challenge. Near the start of the level you’ll encounter one. You can shoot the searchlight from the cover and it won’t raise an alarm.
Challenge #2: New Orders In the large courtyard you’ll enter after meeting Zorii Bliss, work your way around to the Villain Terminal on the right side of the courtyard without raising alarm. Use the terminal and an announcement will play telling all of the troopers to leave the area, completing the challenge.
Challenge #3: Be Rey-ly Quiet! You need to complete the level without being detected. If you complete the previous two level challenges, this will be a lot easier. After shooting the UA-TT’s spotlight, wait for it to walk away and then use a Scavenger Net Launcher to get up to the level where the walker was. Follow the path around to the right and then use a battery to open a door which will bring you out right next to the villain terminal in the large courtyard. From here, it’s going to be really easy to complete the level.
Minikit #1: After completing challenge #1, wait for the walker to leave and then use a Scavenger Net Launcher to get up to the higher level. Use the force to lift the Gonk Droid into the open window and it will run out of the front door with the minikit.
Minikit #2: In the second courtyard with the four troopers, use the force to move the crates to the right of the stairs and stack them up to reach the zipline. Slide across to reach a rooftop with this minikit.
Minikit #3: Reach the next courtyard where the thugs ambush you. Once the troopers leave, go down the right alleyway to find a house on the right with an open window. Use a Scavenger Glider to reach the open window and the minikit.
Minikit #4: In the large courtyard, use a Villain Bomb to blow open the silver door along the left wall as you enter.
Minikit #5: Before ending the level, use the Force to move the LEGO crate to create a platform up to the handles, right outside the level exit. Climb up to get a minikit.

Challenge #1: When Treadspeeders Fly! Midway through the level, after destroying the TIE Fighter, more treadspeeders appear. One of these will use a large rock as a ramp to your left. Shoot it down mid-air to complete the challenge.
Challenge #2: Never Underestimate a Droid To complete this challenge, you need to hit a jet trooper with a powder canister as BB-8. I’m not going to lie, luck is definitely required for this one, but switch to BB-8 and launch a powder canisters over and over. Keep firing until you hit one of the troopers behind the speeder to complete the challenge.
Challenge #3: Teamwork Early in the level you’ll be chased by treadspeeder. Swap to BB-8 and launch a canister. If you manage to hit the treadspeeder, a quick cutscene will show the pilot is dizzy. While they’re dizzy, destroy the treadspeeder to complete the challenge.

Minikit #5: As soon as the mid-level cutscene plays, top left of the screen. Shoot the floating minikit.
