Star Wars According To LiB – Part 2: The Original Trilogy

Welcome to this special side episode for the LEGO retrospective reviews.

Realising that the story section for my upcoming retrospective for LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga was going to take up more time than my average video I thought I’d do something a little different, a full retelling of the nine movie Star Wars saga.

PART TWO

Episodes IV-VI: The Original Trilogy

We’re jumping forward 19 years from the events of the prequels and Anakin and Padme’s twins, having grown up in secret and not knowing anything about each other or their true heritage they have very different lives.

Leia is a princess, accomplished diplomat, military general and key resource in the rebellion against Palpatine’s Empire. Luke, is a bored, but highly skilled pilot, desperate to leave the family farm and have an adventure.

Everyone’s favourite evil space wizard, Darth Vader, eager to end the rebellion with his new, not-a-moon, planet destroying space station, captures Leia and destroys her home planet for good measure…

Luckily, Leia was able to get word out that she needs help, through her droids R2-D2 and C-3PO, though 3PO wasn’t technically invited. Even more luckily, due to the cost-of-living crisis, the Empire recently launched a money saving scheme and no longer fire on escape pods that have no readable life forms on them. Laser energy is extortionate at the moment, got to save those pennies.
