Scooby-dooby-doo, where are you? Oh you’re battling LEGO monsters.

A series I started in 2018, Adventures in LEGO Dimensions, returns for a reboot. The series sees each episode focused on a different franchise hub world and this new series will continue the game from my Let’s Play series on the hunt for the 100%.

Part 2 of this series will see us heading on a mystery adventure with Scooby Doo, in a dark and spooky hub world featuring a haunted house, abandoned fairground, collapsed mine and ship wrecks under the sea.

27 gold bricks to find, 1 red brick of unknown power, missions to complete, let’s go solve a mystery…

Part 1 of this series will be The Wizard of Oz, the oldest franchise in the smorgasbord that is LEGO Dimensions and one that is only briefly touched upon in the story playthrough as the introduction level.

27 gold bricks to find, 1 red brick of unknown power, missions to complete and a colourful world of wonder contrasted with a sepiatoned Kansas to explore.

Watch out for flying monkeys and tornados, let’s get this adventure underway.

It’s time to head to the Land Ooo for an adventure with Finn the human and Jake the Dog. Joined by the Lumpy Space Princess, Beemo and Marceline the Vampire Queen, they must solve puzzles and overcome bad guys to collect the treasure…golden bricks.
They will, however, have help on the precarious adventure with Superman, Aquaman, Ethan Hunt Voldemort and many more offering their unique skills.

Running from 2015-2017, LEGO Dimensions brought to life many franchises never before seen in LEGO games, as well as those a little more familiar. Ghostbusters, The Simpsons, Scooby Doo, Sonic the Hedgehog, Doctor Who, The Wizard of Oz, and many many more.

Adventures in LEGO Dimensions will openly explore these worlds, solve the puzzles, collect the gold bricks and celebrate the brilliance that was such a monumental point in LEGO gaming.

PART EIGHT – THE LEGO MOVIE WORLD

As promised (though fairly later than promised), Episode 8 of Adventures in LEGO Dimensions is finally here and we’re off to the LEGO Movie world. It seems only fitting a place to visit with only a few weeks to go until the release of the long awaiting sequel.

Sadly lacking characters outside of the starter pack’s Wylde Style, there will be plenty of involvement from other heroes from across the multi-verse.

With a new LEGO DC game on the horizon, it’s time to get back into DC Comics mode with a trip to the LEGO Dimensions home of the Justice League. In a world where Gotham City and Metropolis have been merged, it’s up to Superman, Batman, Aquaman, and Green Arrow to save the day.

Low on heroes in their ranks, The Joker, Harley Quinn, and Bane will be stepping in to lend a hand.
