Back in July, our Instagram account hit an amazing milestone of 10,000 followers, an incredible feat and something I never saw coming. Life In Brick started with that account as a bit of fun to share my madness with the world. I never expected to see it hit 1,000 followers, let alone 10,000.
I’m incredibly grateful for the support that my work has gained from all of you wonderful LEGO fans and to celebrate that amazing follower count, I want to do something for you guys, the Follower Takeover. In the spirit of collaboration, sharing, and having fun – all the things LEGO stands for, I want to help you grow your online audience, grow your Instagram, share your work.
Running from August 26th until September 1st, the Takeover is your opportunity to share your LEGO work with the large audience that has built out of our Instagram page. I will be dedicating the entire week to your work, uploading, sharing, your work, your Instagram accounts, essentially handing the reins over to you. Everything shared on Instagram will also show up on our Facebook page, Tumblr blog, Twitter, on our YouTube channel and here, on the website.
The rules are simple:
- Your image must include LEGO
- Your image and Instagram account must be family friendly
It’s that simple and a great opportunity for you to share your work and hopefully grow your own channel. All I ask in return is that if you haven’t already, please do follow us.
All you have to do is fill in the form below, upload your image and I’ll do the rest. Selected images will be uploaded to the account, along with credit and links to your account and loads of valuable hashtags to get your work out to as many people as possible.
The images will be selected at random, but I will try and upload as many as possible over the seven day period.
