“What are your superpowers again?”, “I’m rich!”

LEGO Games Retrospective, looking back over the last decade and a bit of TT Games’ LEGO partnership, from the emergence of LEGO Star Wars through to the powerhouse that has been LEGO Dimensions.

For me, this episode is one that I have been looking forward to since I began the series. Having now visited Hogwarts for the second time, it’s time for another LEGO games sequel, and easily one of my absolute favourites, (I’m genuinely excited about this one), LEGO Batman 2: DC Super Heroes.

As I’ve already said in both episode 4 and episode 6, Harry Potter did some amazing things for the LEGO games franchise, reinvigorating a lot of the tedious gameplay and ultimately taking the staleness out of the tried and tested template.

While those two games paved the way for many of the great things we now take for granted in TT Games’ adventures, the Dark Knight’s second outing was about to change the platformer series forever.
