This guide will show you how to achieve 100% completion on The LEGO Movie Videogame Level 1, Bricksburg Construction.
The video will show you what is required to 100% the level with additional detail below for each part. Each level of the core story requires you to collect the following:
- Five Golden Instruction Booklets
- A Pair of Pants

Instruction Booklet #1 (00:28):
Once you reach the point of the first instruction manual in the tube, you’ll see a gate to the right with a golden lock on it. Destroy the lock and head into a new area with 11 buildings. Destroy all 11 buildings for the instruction booklet.
Instruction Booklet #2 (02:16):
Just to the right of where you destroy the 11 buildings, you’ll find a walled off area, blocked by fire. Change to President Business and then use the Lord Business point to suit up in the long legs. Walk through the fire and flip the big red switch for the instruction book.
Instruction Booklet #3 (02:56):
There are five cameras to destroy for this instruction booklet:
- Just to the left of the starting point.
- To the left of the first instruction manual.
- To the left of the building with the jackhammer in.
- Far right, by the conveyor belt.
- Upper level, top of the conveyor belt.
Instruction Booklet #4 (03:33):
On for the far right of the ground level, by the conveyor belt, there is a wall made from rainbow bricks. Use Unikitty to destroy the wall and grab the instruction booklet from behind it.
Instruction Booklet #5 (04:21):
When falling down the hole at the end of the level, eventually Emmet will find himself stuck on a spike. You’ll be prompted to press a button (On the Xbox it’s X), this will push you down the nice right path. When you start falling again, follow the rings of studs and in the final fall, the fifth ring has the instruction booklet in the middle of it.
Pants (03:49):
During the “Everything is Awesome” dancing section, get at least AWESOME! 9 times and the pants will appear at the end of the song.
