This guide will show you how to achieve 100% completion on LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga – Episode IV: A New Hope Level 1, Boarding Party.
Each level of in The Skywalker Saga requires you to complete the following:
- Complete three specific challenges
- Collect Five Minikits
In order to guarantee completion, it is recommended that the level be completed in FREE PLAY, not STORY MODE.
Challenge #1: Sometimes I Amaze Myself
For this challenge, defeat an enemy with an explosive canister. One area where this can be achieved is in the room with the snipers. Lure a stormtrooper toward the red explosive canisters mounted on the walls. When they’re close, shoot the canisters.
Challenge #2: I Suggest a New Strategy
In the final section of the level, you’ll control of the droids. Head down the hallway where you’ll reach a control room with a locked door and an Imperial Officer. Use the C-3PO to activate the protocol droid terminal near the door and take control of the turret. Shoot all the bad guys inside.
Challenge #3: Vacuumed Up!
Late in the level, though before you take over as the droids, you’ll reach an area with a blocked door on the left and fire on the right. Smash the LEGO objects around to find bricks to build the fire extinguisher on the right. Put out the fire, then use the rebel terminal at the end of the hall to open an airlock and flush out the stormtroopers.
Minikit #1:
There are four flying aliens scattered throughout the ship, none of which on the main path. Destroy all four for the minikit.
- In the second area after you’ve retreated from Vader, look to the ceiling for an optional path up using grapple. There’s one alien up there.
- Later down the same hallway, past the troopers, there’s a floor that will crumble when you get close. You need to ensure you don’t fall down the hole or you cannot complete this. Use the Rebellion Terminal to unlock the door past the destroyed floor.
- On the path past Minikit #2, there’s an alien on the ceiling.
- You can find the alien by grappling up from the dance club room (see Minikit #2 and #3).
Minikit #2:
Reach the hallway where Darth Vader is fighting rebels behind the glass. To the left as you enter this area there is lock above a door which a force user can open. Open it, then drop down and follow the path to get this kit.
Minikit #3:
Past Minikit #2, and past the alien (Minikit #1), open the hatch and reach a new hallway. Down this path you’ll encounter a room with a dance floor and DJ booth. Defeat the troopers then use a Jedi on the Rebels to “Distract” so all three are and get them dancing. The minikit will then appear.
Minikit #4:
In the room with the snipers, stormtroopers will blast through the left door. Inside, there are four buttons you have to press at the same time. Mount the Gonk Droid to stand on one bottom, then swap to any Protocol Droid in Free play and split him to press two more. Finally stand on the fourth button to open the door and grab the minikit.
Minikit #5:
Found at the very end of the level, reach the hallway with the escape pods. The minikit is in the escape pod opposite the level exit. Open it and smash all the stuff inside to find it.
