This guide will show you how to achieve 100% completion on The LEGO Movie Videogame Level 2, Escape From Bricksburg.
The video will show you what is required to 100% the level with additional detail below for each part. Each level of the core story requires you to collect the following:
- Five Golden Instruction Booklets
- A Pair of Pants

Instruction Booklet #1 (04:01):
After building the ladder and heading up the left wall as Wyldstyle, follow the wall path around until you see a ledge just below you. The instruction booklet is at the end of the ledge.
Instruction Booklet #2 (04:11):
As soon you’re outside in the alleyway, head forward and destroy the golden lock. Inside the gated area, there is a hacking terminal. Use it as Benny to shut down the power so that you can grab the instruction booklet.
Instruction Booklet #3 (04:58):
Still in the alleyway, turn around and head to the other end of the path to find another golden locked gate on the left. Destroy the lock and head into the area. There is a rainbow bricked object that you can destroy so hat you can build a springboard that will launch you to the other side of the alley. You’ll see the booklet on the ledge above. If you’re doing this in free play, save yourself some time and fly over as Superman.
Instruction Booklet #4 (05:42):
From the previous booklet, fly back over to the area with the springboard and you’ll see a booklet on the ledge on the far left.
Instruction Booklet #5 (05:50):
During the vehicle section, there are 4 enemy vehicles to destroy along the road which are actively attacking you as part of the story. Destroy all four for the instruction booklet.
Pants (00:28):
At the beginning of the level, once you’ve built the laser and blown out the large window to retrieve the final instruction manual, you’ll see a hacking terminal at the back on the left. Use it to open the door at the back of the room and then head into a new area.
Once inside the new area, destroy the golden lock on the door at the back and use a construction worker to fix up the broken machine inside. Next, fly over to the right and activate the wrench point to create a bridge and complete the chequer path. Push the object on the path to the end and this will reveal another bridge to allow you to head further right.
Destroy the rainbow bricked desk with Unikitty and then rebuild it into a butterfly that will allow you to climb the wall. Get up to the top level and then push the acrobatic pole into position. This will open another door to a room with a hacking terminal. Complete the hack to reveal the pants.
