Comic-con’s can be a special place for us fans, a chance to meet the TV/movie star we’ve grown up admiring. This year I attended London Film and Comic Con for that very reason, to meet an actor I’ve been a fan of for as year as I can remember, Captain Kirk himself, William Shatner – also because I love Boston Legal.
In addition to meeting Mr Shatner, Zackary Quinto, Spider-Man, and Pikachu, I stumbled across a section dedicated to everyone’s favourite construction toy and saw some amazing custom builds based on my three favourite LEGO themes, Marvel, DC and top of the list, Star Wars. As the work on show was mind-blowingly superb, I had to share it with those of you who didn’t have the opportunity to attend such a comic-con.

Showmasters London Film & Comic Con took place at Olympia London in July on Friday 26th, Saturday 27th and Sunday the 28th of 2019. In addition to the LEGO section mentioned in this video there were a whole host of fun activities including photo shoots, panels, autograph sessions and hundreds of stalls full of TV and Film memorabilia to browse.
