This guide will show you how to achieve 100% completion on LEGO The Hobbit Level 9 – Queer Lodgings.
The video will show you what is required to 100% the level with additional detail below for each part. Each level of the core story requires you to collect the following:
- Ten Minikits
- Four Treasures
- A blacksmith design

Minikit #1 (00:18):
As you’re running from the beginning of the level, stay to the far right and you’ll grab the minikit.
Minikit #2 (00:29):
Once you turn and are running across the screen, stay to the top and you’ll grab the minikit.
Minikit #3 (00:39):
Once you start sliding down the path, follow the stud trail for the minikit.
Minikit #4 (01:52):
To the left of the house is a silver-bricked lock with a door to the basement, destroy the lock and head in. A large glass bottle in the middle of the room can be broken by a wizard. The minikit will appear once the glasses is smashed.
Minikit #5 (01:59):
Destroy the three banners in the basement, on the back wall for the minikit.
Minikit #6 (02:10):
This one can be found in an alcove under the steps in the basement.
Minikit #7 (02:15):
Outside and to the far right of the house, destroy the bushes around this area so that you can build a spring board and reach the minikit.
Minikit #8 (02:30):
Just next to the spring board, destroy everything that can be destroyed to reveal a dig spot. Dig up the brick for building a grappling hook which will attach to the tree on the right. Pulling on these will reveal a secret entrance to a hidden area. The first thing you’ll spot in the hidden area is a grass patch with a minikit sticking out of a dig spot. Dig it up.
Minikit #9 (03:27):
In the hidden area from minikit #8, there are three large statues of bears. Destroy all three for the minikit.
Minikit #10 (04:15):
In the hidden area, off to the back right is an outhouse with two crates in front of it. Destroy the crates and build a catapult target which once used will reveal the minikit.
Treasure #1 – Kite of Fancy (01:13):
To the left of the house, there is a tree with points to shoot arrows at so an elf can swing up. At the top is a branch with the treasure on.
Treasure #2 – Cooking Apron (01:27):
To the left of the house is a silver-bricked lock with a door to the basement, destroy the lock and head in. Inside, grab the torch to the left of the stairs and then head right and light the fire point for the treasure.
Treasure #3 – Farmer’s Flight Fleece (03:50):
In the hidden area (see minikit #8), there is a large cracked wall at the back next to a wood cutting area. The treasure is behind it.
Treasure #4 – Chicken Hat (04:43):
On the far right of the hidden areas is the treasure strung up in a tree. Use Sauron to destroy the darkness object holding it up there and the treasure will drop.
Blacksmith Design – Mithril Multi-bow (00:49):
As soon as you’re in the section with the house, jump over the beehives to the left of the house and heal the injured animal. The squirrel will run up the tree and drop the instructions down to you.
